Sacred Rainbow Nation Songs of Light, Peace and Love · Song 238
The Elements Chant: air, fire, water and earth each given a verb — “air moves us, fire transforms us, water shapes us, earth heals us” — with the wheel’s balance turning in the refrain. It circulates as a commons of the pagan fire-circle and Rainbow traditions; the songbooks record no author. It is printed in Rainbow AU songs, vol. A, p.48, song #238. The melody here follows the singing on Mettaben’s Rainbow Chant Collection — air_moves_us.mp3 (CC BY-NC-SA).
Air moves us, fire transforms us
Water shapes us, earth heals us
And the balance of the wheel goes round and round
And the balance of the wheel goes round
