key C major on source songbook key C major tempo ≈129 chords C G

“Give thanks to the mother Gaia, give thanks to the father sun.” A grace sung before food in circles from Oregon to the Netherlands, printed in four books of the collection and notated in Come Together Songs III. The melody here follows the singing on Ananda Das's rainbow-songs compilation (at 39:43), which lands squarely in the books' C-major chording.
