Sacred Rainbow Nation Songs of Light, Peace and Love · Core 100
“Oh Jah, you have given me everything I need to be free — in this reality.” A reggae prayer of thanksgiving printed in twelve books of the collection, where it runs straight into Jah Rastafarai as a medley. The melody here follows the singing on Jah Rastafari / In This Reality (Jah Levi, Shimshai, RainbowSong) — the second half of that medley.
Oh Jah, you have given me
Everything I need to be free
In this reality
Oh yes, in this reality
Send my sons and my daughters from afar, far over
My remnants from the four corners of the earth, far over
Jah say baptize the children
With water and pure white light
This is the healing of the nation
In this creation, oh Jah
Let the music fill your soul
Great Spirit is in full control
Let the music heal your soul
Oh yeah, oh Jah
the books chord it over long runs of Am and G, one chord to a
phrase; the linked recording sings it in A major
as printed in Alli Ruhi (Songs of the Rainbow), where it runs
straight into Jah Rastafarai; 12 books of the collection
