Sacred Rainbow Nation Songs of Light, Peace and Love · Song 2

May the Circle Be Open

key B minor on source tempo ≈129 credited to Starhawk

By Starhawk, from The Spiral Dance (1979) — the closing blessing of the circle, sung as gatherings part: “merry meet and merry part and merry meet again.” It is printed in Rainbow AU songs, vol. A, p.1, song #2 — the book’s second song, right where a closing blessing belongs. The melody here follows the singing on the performance carried by song-circle.com’s Merry Meet page, the version the circle-song community itself points to.

Words & chords — as printed in the songbook

May the circle be open but unbroken

May the peace of the Goddess be ever in your heart

Merry meet and merry part

And merry meet again
