Sacred Rainbow Nation Songs of Light, Peace and Love · Song 32

Oh Great Spirit

key G minor on source tempo ≈129 credited to Adele Getty

“Oh Great Spirit, Earth, Sun, Sky and Sea, you are inside and all around me” — a two-line prayer widely credited to Adele Getty, sung as a round and as a grace across circle traditions. It is printed in Rainbow AU songs, vol. A, song #32 (words only). The melody here follows the singing on Mettaben’s Rainbow Chant Collection — o_great_spirit.mp3 (CC BY-NC-SA); the same collection holds two further Great Spirit chants that are distinct songs.
